Former police chief files discrimination lawsuit
Bob Boydston, a former Pleasant Valley police chief, has filed a lawsuit against the city that alleges age and sex discrimination and accuses the city of creating a hostile work environment.
After former Mayor Rene Flippin appointed him with the consent of the Board of Aldermen, Boydston, now 61, served as chief from May 2005 to November 2006, when his appointment was not renewed.
