CryoCor Files Lawsuit Against CryoCath

Medical device maker CryoCor Inc. said Wednesday it filed two lawsuits against competitor CryoCath Technologies Inc. alleging patent infringement in an ongoing dispute.
In October, Montreal-based CryoCath filed a similar lawsuit against CryoCor.
In the latest lawsuits, CryoCor claims patents for its Cryoablation system used to treat irregular heartbeats were infringed by CryoCath's products. The lawsuits were filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware and in Canada.
