Alleged discrimination of Fil-Am spurs lawsuit, rally in Chicago
CHICAGO�Alleged discrimination against a Filipino American woman has spurred protests and an ongoing investigation of the popular clothing store H&M located on Chicago�s Magnificent Mile.A crowd of protestors rallied outside the department store Oct. 6 to back Frannie Richards, 33, of Chicago, Illinois, who filed a discrimination complaint with the Chicago Commission of Human Relations, claiming that an H&M employee subjected her to racist and sexist slurs.
